Compact Multi Functional Wall Detector MD120 For Beam , Plastic Pipe Full Of Water

Detection model

There are three type detect this product available: multi-functional wall detector model,metal model,charged wire model.Different detection requirements need to choose a different way.Select "metal" model,can reach a maximum depth of detection of metal. Select "Charged wire model "achieve the maximum depth of detection of charged wires.

Product indication lamp(See diagram label product mark number 5) can display the currently selected detection mode.

Multi-functional wall detector model

Multi-function wall detecotor can detect the following items inwater wall:

- Magnetic metal,

- Non-metal,for example beam,plastic pipe full of water,

- Non-magnetic metal,for example copper pipe, Charged objects ,for example electric wire.

Press on button,ring 1 and the indication 5 ( above)light up green,and multi-functional wall detector model to be activated.

The detectors will be preferred to detect metal objects,nail sand screws in the base material may cause a wooden beam to be indicated as a metal object on the display.When display4 indicates a continuously high amplitude of measuring indicator i and fine scale j,restart the measuring procedure again by positioning the measuring tool at different location on the base material.

In rare cases ,the measuring tool is not able to detect the base material may because the side with the sensor area 13and the type plate 14 is solid or dirty.Just clean the measuring tool with a dry,soft cloth and restart the measuring procedure.

Metal model

Through the Metal model can detect the magnetic metal and non-magnetic metal.Press on button ring 1 and indication 5lights up green(Above the button ),Metal model activation.On display ,Indicate the detected magnetic metal(e,g. iron)On display ,Indicate the detected magnetic non-magnetic metal.Note:For reinforcement steel mesh and steel in the examined base material,scale figure "i" will show all scale. To distinguish the type of metal,detectors must be found at thetop of the metal objects(ring 1 is lit red).

Note:For reinforcement steel mesh and steel in the examinedbase material,an amplitude is indicated i.For reinforcementsteel mesh,it is typical that the symbol for magnetic metal is indicated on the display directly above the iron rods,whereas between the iron rods,the symbol d for non-magneticmetal will appear.

Charged wire model model

The operation mode "charged wire model"is suitable only fordetecting"live"conductors110-230V

Press on button,ring 1 and indication 5 lights up green(Abovethe button )when a"live"conductor is detected,indication appears on the display.

Because of detection the signal strength will be affected by theposition of the wire,move the measuring tool repeatedly over thearea to localise the "live"conductor several times. lt can be
indicated very accurately.When the measuring tool is very closeto the conductor,the iluminated ring 1 flashes red and the audiosignal beeps swiftly.

"Live"conductors can be detected easier when power consumersare connected to the sought conductor and switch on.

Under certain condition(such as below metal surfaces or behindsurfaces with high water content),"live' conductors cannot besecurely detected.

Static electricity can lead to inaccurate indication of electric lines,for example ,over a large range. To inprove the indication,placeyour free hand flat on the wall next to the measuring tool,in orderto remove the static electricity.

*Because in the process of construction,electricity is one of the
most dangerous factors ,security considerations,the three type in thedetection process, will give priority to charged wire.

Temperature Control
The measuring tool is equipped with a temperature control Iindicator
When the temperature control indicator lights up,the measuringtool is not within the operating temperature range or was subjectto large variations in temperature.Switch the tool off and allow itto adjust to the ambient temperature before switching it on again .

Some unfavorable factors during the detection will affect thedetect accuracy,such as the follwing:

- Environmental factor
Including e.g., the proximity of other equipment that producestrong magnetic or electronmagnetic fields,moisture ,metallicbuilding materials,foil-laminated insulation materials orconductive wallpaper or tiles.

- Material and size of the objects.
- Material and condition of the base material.

- Operation mode selection is not accurate.
Therefore,please also observe other information sources(e.g.construction plans) before drilling,sawing or routing into walls,ceilings or floors.

* Less scanning depth for wires while the conductors are not "live" .

Warning function

When lights up on the display and indication 5(above button ) flashes,the measurement must be restarted.Remove the toolfrom the wall and place it on the base material at a differentlocation.

Care

Keep the measuring tool clean and dry at all times to ensureproper and safe working.
- Do not immerse the tool in water or other fluids.
- Wipe away debris or contamination with a dry,soft cloth.Do notuse cleaning agents or solvents.
- ln order not to affect the measuring function,decalsstickers orname plates,especiall metal ones,may not be attached in thesensor area 13 on the front or back side of the measuring tool.

- Do not remove the contact pads 12 on the back.
- Do not open the instrument by yourself. Store and transport themeasuring tool only in the supplied soft package.
In case of repairs,send in the tool packed in its soft package.
