Red Color Hand Held Wall Electrical Cable Detector Operation Time About 5 Hours
Description:
Some unfavorable factors during the detection will affect thedetect accuracy, such as the follwing:
- Environmental factor
Including e.g., the proximity of other equipment that producestrong magnetic or electronmagnetic fields, moisture ,metallicbuilding materials,foil-laminated insulation materials orconductive wallpaper or tiles.
- Material and size of the objects.
- Material and condition of the base material.
- Operation mode selection is not accurate.
Therefore, please also observe other information sources(e.g.construction plans) before drilling, sawing or routing into walls, ceilings or floors.
* Less scanning depth for wires while the conductors are not "live" .
Start-up
Inserting/Replacing the battery
Alkali- manganese batteries are recommended for the measuring tool.
Press the latch of battery lid in the direction of the arrow and open the battery lid.Insert the supplied battery and make sure that the polarity is correct.
You should replace the battery when the battery indicator indicates .
If the tooI is not used for a long period of time, the battery must be removed.
Operation
WARNING:
Make sure the sensor area is not moisture before detecting.
lf the tool was used in extreme temperatures or variations in
temperature, allow the tool to adjust to the ambient temperature before switch it on.

Scanning
Put the tool on the surface of the object, and always move the tool in a straight line(as shown in the picture below) after choose the correct detect operating mode.
When the tool is on the surface of the object, the illuminated ring lights up green and signals operational readiness.
Measuring indicator i indicates the maximal amplitude above the centre of the object ; illuminate ring 1 lights up red and an audio signal sounds. For small and deeply embedded objects, ring 1 can continue to light up yellow, while there is no audio signal. To localise the object more precise, move the measuring tool repeatedly (3X) back and forth.
The fine scale j is automatically activated in wall operating modes. Fine scale j indicated in all amplitude when the object is below the center of the sensor or when the maxi-mum amplitude of measuring indicator i is reached. The indication"CENTER" k lights up additionally.
Wide objects in the base material are detected through a continuous, high amplitude of measuring indicators i and j. Ring1 lights up yellow. The duration of the high amplitude corresponds approximately with object width.
When very small or deeply embedded objects are being sought and measuring tooI repeatedly over the object in horizontal and vertical direction.Pay attention to the amplitude of fine scale j,additionally to the "CENTER k indication, which will then allow for precise detection.
When you drill hole on the wall, sawing or milling cut before, you must be through other sources of information, completes the protective measures to prevent the danger.Because the composition of the measurement results will be affected by environmental factors and the impact of the wall.Even if the instrument does not show any hidden objects within the
detection range,(The instrument does not sound signal and ring 1 light up green light),still could be dangerous.
